South Africa so far has been AMAZING! We're talking incredible, fascinating, scary, beauitful, and so much fun, all wrapped into one! Sometimes it feels surreal to finally see all the places and dynamics I've only been reading about. I've made some wonderful friends here, South Africans are so hospitable! And see some incredible things. The Drakensberg mountains are BEAUTIFUL. We went on a full day's hike this weekend, and visited a natural healer in Lesotho too. Oh man, seriously the experience of a lifetime. The monkeys on campus continue to suprise me, as did the giant spider that lives in the corner of my window. Got him on tape, and went to look it up, sure enough its venemous...So lets not play with the giant spider! (Want to see it? Watch my Episode Three, titled "Baboons Throwing Rocks".
